There is a saying

“Starve the problems, feed the opportunities”

●How can this be applied to missionary work?

○Try not to focus on problems.

○Instead, try to focus on what we can do through faith in Jesus Christ. Feed the

good things.

■ As we feed the good, it will grow.

■Faith over fear.

 Faith

  —

  Fear

The Lord wants us to improve

●We improve as we continue to strive.

 ○ Drop by drop we get better and better each day.

 ○ If we stop trying, we stop growing.

●He did not send us here to fail.

 ○ Failure happens when we stop trying.

 ○ As we teach investigators to keep striving to follow Christ no matter the

challenges they will always be blessed.

Focus on Christ

Having a fixed focus on Jesus Christ enables us to see through the midst of darkness because He is

light. He is also the way, the truth, and the life ( John 14:6). As representatives of Jesus Christ and

His restored church, we seek to humbly emulate Him in our missionary efforts. To bring light to those

in darkness. To show the way by teaching the truth and inviting new life through the covenant of

baptism and confirmation. It is only in and through Jesus Christ that we can receive exaltation.
